Sixela Hair Studio was founded in Midtown in 2018 by Sacramento native Alexis Monteiro. Since then, Sixela has grown into a thriving barber-salon collective now rooted in Oak Park, bringing together independent barbers and cosmetologists under one creative roof.
Today, Sixela offers precision cuts, creative color, natural styles, loc care, and intentional grooming, all with a focus on craft, confidence, and community. We believe great hair is more than a service. It is self-expression. Our goal is simple: every client leaves looking sharp, feeling confident, and fully themselves.
